I am a musical coach and mentor. I have been playing music for over 30 years. I teach youth and adults – most are beginners, but I am also happy to help experienced musicians level-up.
To me, music is a spiritual journey. It’s not just for people who want to perform or be in a band – it’s something you can do for yourself as therapy.
Knowing how to play songs will give you self-confidence, respect from peers, and an outlet for self-expression.
I teach through songs.
The lessons are tailored to each individual student’s musical tastes and aspirations.
In the context of your favorite songs, you can learn music theory and techniques – chords, scales, and rhythm.
I believe that music theory is not required to be a great musician, and if you’re not interested, then we’ll stick to the fun of playing.
The student will leave each lesson a little bit more knowledgeable and inspired.
